Cannabis: Is it a Dangerous Carcinogenic or a Potentially Useful Medicine?

Introduction:

Cannabis; is the general name of the plant scientifically known as “Plant Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica, and Cannabis ruderalis”. Cannabis is usually defined to be as the “appear tops of the cannabis plant”. Its chemical form is also known as “Marijuana.” Data collections elaborate cannabinoid drugs have a potential therapeutic value, especially for symptoms such as pain removal, control of nausea, vomiting, and appetite activation.

The impact of cannabinoids on symptoms studied is generally modest, and in various cases, there are the most effective medications, so that’s why people have different responses to medications. The solution of cannabinoids drugs effect depicts that cannabinoids are well studied for particular studies such as therapy-induced nausea and vomiting and AIDS (immunodeficiency syndrome) wasting. The physical and clinical l impact of cannabinoids’ role in anxiety reduction and sedation (sleeping with drugs ), which can affect medical benefits, should be made in clinics. Cannabinoids are used in clinical observation trials for a short period of approximately less than six months to the relevant patient; it is also approved by the review board and medical administration.

Associated with Cannabis smoke, unlike tobacco smoke that links cancer to humans, these cancers are caused by tobacco use. Mostly abnormalities in cells are seen to exist in both types of smokers. Similar results have been observed in tobacco smokers. Chronic cannabis can also cause the development of pre-cancerous changes in bronchial and epithelium cells. Mostly, cannabis is more dangerous than beneficial to health, and the worst outcomes of cannabis are being caused by smoking, like cigarettes. A Scientific analysis performed concluded that almost 7000 of the chemicals in marijuana are the same as in Tobacco.

One of the most harmful carcinogens in tobacco is “benzopyrene,” which is present in greater amounts in marijuana, so it frequently increases the amount of tar deposited in the lungs. Marijuana also contains cannabinoids (study of chemicals in marijuana) such as delta-nine tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) which is non-carcinogenic. By contrast, nicotine promotes the development of cancer cells in their blood supply. Cannabinoids stimulates other biological process and causes cancer initiation, such as suppressing the part of the immune system involved in inflammation which mostly causes the production of free radicals, which accelerates the progression of cancer.

Scientific Discussions:

“Cannabis chemical cannabidiol (CBD)” plays a very important role in the treatment of a special disorder such as childhood epilepsy. Therefore scientists have been researching the cannabis plant and creating and designing CBD (cannabidiol) for the eradication of such disorders. Some of the reports also show an important result of cancer in young adults. A small level of cancer has been observed in the neck, head, and lungs cancer associated with the use of marijuana.

Cannabis is used for curing Muscles problems, and movement disorder has been known in western countries, specifically for controlling movements. Central cannabinoid receptors are in the basal ganglia, the part of the brain that stimulates body movement.

Some questions about cannabis as it diminished the awareness of others, so how should it be used in the medical field? Without any disorder, its use is an offense crime, but in medicine, it is given only to a patient who is suffering from pain and other serious problems; removal of pain and health problems for an individual is more important. Because it’s all about saving a life. One important question is this the availability of such drugs is a problem for the others people that become addicted to such drugs. The government and the related institutes should have to make strict rules for the people who intake such drugs without healthcare providers and recommendations.

Commentary:

Religious and other people also raise the question about the medical use of cannabis and its products, is it legal? Medical field-related people have the right to use cannabis for the elimination of disease and for treatment, They claim the protection of an individual is more important than the question, But it is also necessary for a doctor to tell the pros and cons of cannabis to his patient, but personal permission is also considered.

Conclusion:

At this point, our knowledge of cannabis and cannabinoids show some general conclusions. Cannabis is a risk factor for the development of cancer, particularly Lung cancer. Cancer development factor increase when cannabinoids smoke like a cigarette, especially lung cancer. On a small level, it also causes “head and neck cancer” Cannabinoids also diminish the awareness of others. Cannabinoids have clinical uses, i.e., Cannabinoids play a role in Pain reduction control of movements and memory. The natural role of cannabinoids’ immune systems are likely multifaceted, like AIDS/HIV.
