Jeffrey Dahmer was an American serial killer who took the lives of 17 males between 1978 and 1991. Over the course of more than 13 years, He was born on May 21, 1960 and died on November 28, 1994 Dahmer sought out men, mostly African-American, at bars, malls and bus stops, took them home with promises of sex or money, and gave them alcohol laced with drugs before strangling them to death. Dahmer was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, He was described as an energetic and happy child until the age of 4, when surgery to correct a double hernia seemed to effect a change in him.His father name is Lionel Dahmer born in July 29, 1936 at age 82 years old today,He is also a book writer. Divorced from Lionel she Had 2 kids and Died of breast cancer on November 27, 2000 in Fresno, California. Her 2 other children were named David Dahmer And Joyce Dahmer.

Dahmer even attended college in fall but eventually he dropped out due to his alcoholism after that his father forced him to enlist in the army and eventually he went in as a combat medic in Germany from 1979 to 1981. Coincidentally he was kicked out due to the habit with drinking and discharged that spring. He eventually moved to Ohio and kept drinking so his father sent him to live with his grandmother in West Allis, Wisconsin. By 1985 he was attending gay bathhouses all the time. He would drug men and rape them as they lay unconscious. He was even arrested twice for incidents of indecent exposure in 1982 and 1986, he only faced probation and was not charged for rapes. Steven Tuomi was Jeffrey’s second victim and he was killed in September of 1987, Dahmer picked him up from a bar and took him to a hotel room, where he woke up the next morning to Tuomi beaten dead body. Later claiming he had no memories of actually murdering Tuomi. The killings began to occur sporadically after Tuomi with two victims in 1988 and one in 1989, then 4 in 1990. He continued to lure unsuspecting men from solicited prostitutes whom he then drugged , raped, and strangled. Dahmer also began carrying out disturbing acts with corpses. Keeping the bodies for intercourse and taking photographs of the dismemberment process preserving with scientific victims skulls and genitals used for display and even retaining parts for consumption . During the period of time Dahmer was arrested for an incident at his job where he drugged and sexually fondled a 13 year old boy. He got 5 years probation for this and one year at a work release camp.he would remain free to commit four murders that year and eight more in 1991.

Dahmer began killing around one person each week by the summer of 1991 and he became infatuated with the idea that he could turn his killings into “zombies” to act as youthful and submissive sexual partners. He even drilled holes in their heads and injected hydrochloric acid or boiling water into their brains. Soon neighbors complained about strange noises and awful smells coming from his apartment, on one occasion a lobotomized victim left unattended even made it out onto the street to ask a couple people for help. When Dahmer returned however he successfully convinced the police that the irrational young man was his extremely intoxicated boyfriend. On July 22, 1991 Dahmer was caught because of a man named Tracy Edwards that escaped Dahmer and flagged down cops nearby they searched his house and found pictures of dead bodies and dismembered limbs that allowed them to place dahmer under arrest. Also they found severed heads in the refrigerator and three more throughout the apartment as well as a human heart in the freezer even an alter was constructed with human skulls dahmer eventually confessed and began divulging gruesome details.

Dahmer was eventually indicted on 15 murder charges and Dahmer attempted to plead insanity as his defense due to the nature of uncontrollable impulses. He was eventually charged and determined guilty on 15 counts. He was sentenced to 15 life terms for a total of 957 years in prison.

Shortly after being imprisoned a bloody broomstick was found in the bathroom along with Jeffrey in a pool of blood. Mr. Dahmer had been assigned with two other inmates to clean the toilets and showers near the gym and at first had been guarded at 7:50 A.M. Then the inmates were left unattended for over 20 minutes. “They followed procedures,” Mr. Sullivan one of the guards said. The three inmates in the bathroom were all convicted murders and had been working together for about three weeks. But at 8:10am a guard returned to his post to find Mr. Dahmer bleeding on the floor. The guard then found Mr. Anderson several rooms away in the shower area.

Jeffrey was a well known killer in Milwaukee and would have gotten away with more murders if it wasn’t for Tracy Edwards. To this day Dahmer’s name is recognized by many people.
